Invading his former club, Arsene Wenger has appointed Jason Rosenfeld for a new job at FIFA, The Athletic.

For almost a decade Rosenfeld has been in charge of data and analytics for the Gunners.

Wenger left the Emirates in 2018 and has since taken on a job with FIFA as Head of Global Football Development.

The Frenchman has established analytics as an environment of the global game that needs change, and has brought Rosenfeld to help him.

The two men had a strong working relationship, with Rosenfeld managing StatDNA, an Arsenal analytics company acquired in 2012.

StatDNA was bought and moved in-house for £ 2million, with the club rebranding it as Arsenal Data Analytics.
