Messi reveals which players he still speaks to at Barcelona
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi has confirmed he is still in touch with three FC Barcelona stars.
Messi’s legacy at Barcelona seems only to be growing in enormity as the club continues to endure a terrible season since his departure before the term began.
Having spent all his football life at the club before making the shock move to Paris, it is no surprise Messi is still maintaining some form of contact with those at the Catalan giants.
“Yes, I speak with Kun [Sergio] Aguero, who wasn’t a teammate at Barca but is a close friend. With [Sergio] Busquets and with Jordi Alba as well,” Messi told Sport.
The Argentine maestro also answered whether he enjoyed support since his departure from Spain.
“Those that I expected to support me did so,” he added.
“I took them all by surprise, like me. They were by my side supporting me the whole time,” he concluded.
