John Terry linked with big Premier League job.
Chelsea’s legendary former skipper John Terry could land one of the hottest jobs in England right now: Newcastle United as a manager!
The newly-rich Magpies are in the market for a new tactician after controversially sacking Steve Bruce. There were debates on whether the club should go for a ‘relegation football’ manager to stay in the league, or simply for a big name as the money allows.
However, former Aston Villa assistant Terry has emerged as a hot favourite for the exciting gig.
“Chelsea legend John Terry has emerged as a surprise candidate to become the next Newcastle manager,” The Mirror reported as per Chelsea’s media.
“The former Aston Villa assistant left Dean Smith’s side in July to pursue his ambition of becoming a manager in the near future.
“And Terry’s odds with bookmakers to replace Steve Bruce at St James’ Park were slashed on Friday evening, fuelling speculation on social media,” the report concluded.
